Lakewood Cemetery Association conducts business under the name Riverside Cemetery. “Riverside Cemetery” and “Cemetery” are used throughout this website interchangeably with Lakewood Cemetery Association.

Originally incorporated under the New Jersey Rural Cemetery Act of 1875, Riverside Cemetery now operates as a non-profit corporation under New Jersey Statutes and is exclusively for the burial of persons of the Jewish faith at the time of their death.
